Is it really that healthy as everyone tells us?
Short answer- YES!
Even though avocado is one of the most calorically dense fruits on the globe and most of this calories from avocado come from fats it’s still a superfood that I would recommend to people trying to lose weight.
So what are the benefits of eating avocado?
In opposite to other fruits, avocado has very little simple sugars in it. It is packed with omega-6 and omega-3 fatty acids. That is why those of you who are trying to lose body fat should consume avocado. Lipid profile of avocado helps in absorption of lipid-soluble vitamins such as Vit. E and has been shown to reduce cholesterol.
Avocado for Brain
Avocado contains omega-3 fatty acids and natural Vit E as mentioned earlier. This combination has been shown to prevent Alzheimer disease and even heal its early states. Some scientists tell that regular consumption of avocado may improve brain functioning, memory, and concentration.

Here is an example of a sweet avocado snack:
One medium-size avocado
Cacao powder 2 teaspoons
Maple syrup (only if you want it really sweet)
Cut avocado in half, get rid of pits. Peel avocado, put it into a bowl. Smash it or blend if you prefer. Ad smashed banana and cacao powder. Mix all the ingredients together. Now try it if it’s too bitter for you and a tablespoon of maple syrup.
This is an only basic version of this recipe. Feel free to add in it some almonds or peanuts. Spread this cream on rice cakes and you have a healthy dessert.
